Jacqueline Flores is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner at Maiden Lane Medical. As a nurse practitioner, she believes in aligning comprehensive and compassionate patient care with evidence-based practice. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International Honors Society of Nursing.
Jacqueline became interested in women’s health while studying International Development and women’s rights in Durban, South Africa. During her studies, she became acutely aware how important the health of women is in building strong families and communities. Upon graduation from UCLA Jacqueline promptly began her studies for an advanced degree in nursing.
Jacqueline graduated with honors from Columbia University. Her areas of focus include well-women exams, contraception, chronic pelvic pain, menstrual disorders, and the effects of trauma on women. In addition, she is a certified sexual assault crisis counselor donating her time to programs at New York Presbyterian and Woodhull Hospital.
Jacqueline believes every patient has a unique history and by listening and working in collaboration, we can maximize patients’ well-being and quality of life.
